Below are the best ways to get to the conference venue from the three nearest airports. Each option includes accessible transportation details.
From Long Beach Airport (LGB)
Distance: ~7 miles / 15–20 minutes
By Rideshare or Taxi (Accessible Options Available):
Follow signs to the “Ride App Pickup” zone outside baggage claim.
Use the Uber or Lyft app to request a standard or wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV).
A taxi stand is also available outside the terminal with accessible vehicles upon request.
By Public Transit (Accessible)
Take Long Beach Transit Bus Route 111 toward Downtown Long Beach.
Transfer at 1st Street & Pine Ave to walk or roll a few blocks to the Convention Center.
From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Distance: ~22 miles / 30–40 minutes (depending on traffic)
By Shuttle or Rideshare
Use the free LAX-it Shuttle from your terminal to the rideshare pickup area.
Request a rideshare or accessible vehicle through Uber/Lyft.
Airport shuttles to Long Beach hotels are also available and can be booked in advance.
By Public Transit (Accessible, Budget-Friendly)
Take the Metro C (Green) Line Shuttle to Aviation/LAX Station.
Ride the Metro C Line east to Willowbrook/Rosa Parks Station, then transfer to the Metro A (Blue) Line south to Downtown Long Beach.
Exit at 1st Street Station (ADA-accessible) and walk/roll 5 minutes to the Convention Center.
From John Wayne Airport (SNA) – Orange County
Distance: ~25 miles / 35–45 minutes (depending on traffic)
By Rideshare or Taxi
Use app-based rideshare (Uber/Lyft) from the Ground Transportation Center.
Accessible vehicle requests available through both platforms.
By Public Transit (Less Direct)
Take OCTA Bus Route 76 to the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center.
Transfer to Metrolink northbound to Long Beach (or arrange shuttle/rideshare from station).
Public transit from SNA requires multiple transfers—rideshare is recommended for convenience and accessibility.
